Artículo 1776

TÍTULO PRIMERO FUENTES DE LAS OBLIGACIONES · CAPÍTULO I

ART. 1776.- LOS CONTRATOS CELEBRADOS A NOMBRE DE OTRO POR QUIEN NO SEA SU LEGITIMO REPRESENTANTE, SERAN NULOS, A NO SER QUE LA PERSONA A CUYO NOMBRE FUEREN CELEBRADAS, LO RATIFIQUE ANTES DE QUE SE RETRACTEN POR LA OTRA PARTE. LA RATIFICACION DEBE SER HECHA CON LAS MISMAS FORMALIDADES QUE PARA EL CONTRATO EXIGE LA LEY.

SI NO SE OBTIENE LA RATIFICACION, EL OTRO CONTRATANTE TENDRA DERECHO DE EXIGIR DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS A QUIEN INDEBIDAMENTE CONTRATE.
